SEND

At High View School, we are committed to ensuring that every child, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), is supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. We believe in early identification, strong relationships and working closely with families and external professionals to meet individual needs effectively. Through high‑quality, inclusive teaching and carefully tailored support, we aspire to remove barriers to learning while promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing. Our nurturing approach ensures that pupils with SEND are valued, included and encouraged to achieve their full potential within our caring school community.

Our values underpin everything we do and shape the positive, inclusive culture of our school. We encourage all children to Be Tolerant, showing respect and understanding for others; Be Curious, developing a love of learning and asking thoughtful questions; and Be Confident, believing in themselves and celebrating their own strengths. Equally important is being Kind, caring for others and contributing positively to our school community, and Be Happy, feeling safe, supported and proud to be themselves. These values are woven through daily school life and support our pupils to grow into considerate, resilient and motivated learners.

We warmly welcome parents and carers to find out more by reading our SEND Policy, Accessibility Policy and SEND Information Report, which are available on our website. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s needs further, please do not hesitate to contact the school—we are always happy to listen and work together to provide the very best support for our children.
