Year 5/6 Residential
Last week many of the Year 6 children enjoyed a great week on their annual residential experience at Great Potheridge House. Once again, everyone had an amazing time and proudly represented High View School and all that we are. Throughout the week, the children successfully took on a broad range of challenges and adventurous activities together, ranging from kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding to learning about bushcraft, woodland survival and field archery. Every day was action packed and filled with opportunities for the children to push themselves to new limits and it was an absolute pleasure and privilege to see their levels of self confidence and ability grow and develop so much.
Day 1 of our Year 6 residential got off to a fantastic start: rock climbing and rambling were the order of the day, in the most beautiful setting.
Day 2 of our Year 6 residential. The sun was shining for a full day on the lake, SUP boarding, kayaking, canoeing and raft building. Oh, and we had a birthday girl! Happy birthday Sofia!
