Year 3/4 Visit Carnglaze Caverns

Year 3/4 had an amazing time living as a Stone Age person for the day at Carnglaze Caverns.  The children learnt how to use natural materials to create containers and how to start a fire safely to name a few! They also learnt how charcoal is made and created some Stone Age pictures using charcoal and paint made from rocks and natural materials.  The children also enjoyed a trip into the caverns and were surprised to find out how cold and damp it is.
