Year 1/2 Visit Smeaton's Tower and Plymouth Sound Boat Trip

All of the Year 1/2 classes enjoyed a fantastic day on Plymouth Hoe as part of their current theme, Plymouth and Lighthouses. The children had so much fun climbing Smeaton's Tower and sailing around Plymouth Sound. They learnt about the history of Smeaton's Tower and the other lighthouses that have stood on Eddystone Rocks. They also found out about the importance of Plymouth's harbour and the dockyard. The children enjoyed using maps to find key Plymouth landmarks. They  behaved so well and were a credit to the school, well done everyone!
