Remembering the Holocaust

Our Year 5 children worked with our inhouse artist @SorayaPhillips1 to create Artwork in order to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. It shows 6 points of the Star of David. The flames each represent 1 million Jews who were killed during the Holocaust - 6 million in total. This will form part of a city exhibition. 

Our Year 5 children were then very privileged to join schools across the city in commemorating 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau at Holocaust Memorial Day today. #HolocaustMemorialDay #75flames #plymouthsacre
