We will be consulting on our admission arrangements for 2020/2021 through Plymouth City Council. The consultation will be live between 10 December 2018 and 20 January 2019. For 2021-2022 the consultation will be live between 9 December 2019 to 19 January 2020.  If you wish to find out about our policy or make any comment, please visit www.plymouth.gov.uk/admissionconsultation.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2020 – Apply by 15th January 2021

The Plymouth School Admissions guides for parents are now available on the Plymouth City Council website at www.plymouth.gov.uk/schooladmissions. You can find them under the section called ‘Apply for a school place’.

In respect of the pages: Apply for an infant/primary, junior, secondary or KS4 place, step 1 on the page has the guide for parents booklet which includes information on how to apply for a school place, the admission criteria for each school and school contact details. Step 2 has the link to apply online and also pdfs of the application forms.

When applying for a school place, parents/carers will need  to register so they can use the Citizen Portal. Once this is done, you can apply for a school place. If a parent/carer does not have their child’s UID number, they can still apply, they just click the ‘no UID’ box in the application. (All the UID number does is infill some of the child’s data).

Applying for places on-line is simple, convenient, time-saving, and you will get an instant acknowledgement that your application has been received; alternatively, you may print and fill in the application form  and return it either to a Plymouth primary school or direct to the School Admissions Team.  All of the information within the booklet, plus online application & supplementary information forms are on the website.

If you would like to apply for a place at our school, please contact Plymouth City Council on

(01752) 307170 for In-Year Admission and contact your home Local Authority for a Normal Point of Entry Admission ie. starting Reception for the first time in September.

You can find out more information by visiting Plymouth City Council’s website at www.plymouth.gov.uk/schooladmissions.

If you live in Plymouth, you can apply online for a primary or infant reception/foundation school place for your child.

Once you’ve created an account through the Citizen Portal, you can apply for up to three schools (your first, second and third preference).

Please read our admission criteria.  All of the information you need including the timetable for application, school admission criteria and school contact details (for Plymouth schools) are in booklet below:
