Welcome Back

We are all really looking forward to seeing everyone after the Summer Holidays. It is great to be back.

First of all, I would like to say a personal thank you to everyone for helping to make my first week as headteacher of High View School run so smoothly. The children and staff have all settled in brilliantly to the new academic year and we are all looking forward to having a fantastic year together. It was great to see all of our children back and to hear their laughter and excited chatter in the classrooms and playground again. Also, thank you to parents/carers for adapting so efficiently and naturally back towards normal school life. However, as you are aware, things have not quite returned to full “non COVID-19 procedures” just yet, so it is important to continue to work together as a community as we move through the term. Please can I remind you to wear face coverings during entry to the school and feel free to continue to wear them on the playground if you so wish. We have recommenced “Wake and Shake”, which will be taking place daily. Can we ask all parents to leave the playground at 8.45am, thank you.
