Making Clean Energy!
Local charity, Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), are pleased to be working with Plymouth City Council to turn part of Chelson Meadow landfill into a community-owned solar farm. This exciting opportunity could generate enough renewable energy to power 3,860 homes each year and provide around £3.5 million for local projects over the next 30 years! This way, local people can own it, benefit from it and help our city reach net-zero carbon emissions.
Please visit PEC’s website for more information about their existing community-owned solar projects, their free support and advice services for local residents and businesses, and frequently asked questions about this proposal for Chelson Meadow: https://plymouthenergycommunity.com/ our-work/chelson-meadow.
You are invited to join PEC online on 11th October to ask any questions that you may have - sign up here https://plymouthenergycommunity.com/ our-work/chelson-meadow
