On behalf of the whole High View School community, we would like to extend our sincere condolences following the death of Her Majesty the Queen. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to the Royal
Family at this difficult and sad time for them. In school today, your children will have had an opportunity to discuss this matter at an appropriate level within their classes, and we also had a brief
whole school assembly this afternoon to come together and celebrate her life and influence. As we now enter a period of national mourning together, you may wish to further support your children in
commemorating the life of Her Majesty by reading and reflecting on ‘Queen Elizabeth: A Platinum Jubilee Celebration’, the commemorative book that all children received last summer.
