Children's Mental Health Week 2021
This year's theme is 'Express Yourself'. Expressing yourself is a way to share feelings, thoughts and ideas through dance, music, writing, art and doing things that make you feel good. The week is aimed to help children find a way of expressing how they are feeling, making them feel better about themselves.
Monday | Yoga |
Tuesday | Mindful breathing |
Wednesday | Mindful activities |
Thursday | Dance |
Friday | Colourful Mufti / Express yourself day |
We have found some fantastic activities for you all to try at home each day, which are on the timetable and the links can be found either on KS1/KS2 Google classrooms or FS Google Drive. On Friday, the whole day will be free to express yourself, however you choose including wearing colourful clothing! Please spend the day being creative. You could draw, dance, sing, paint, bake, write poems and stories or even sew; do things that make you feel happy. We would also love to see photos/videos of you all getting creative so please email to your class teacher or social.media@highviewprimaryschool.org.uk
