where everyone is valued for who they are.”

COVID-19

Please do not send your child in to school if they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, but can you call the school as early as possible on the day, so that we can advise you of the procedures to follow. Please be assured that whenever a child is ill in school, we will always clean and disinfect the area, regardless of whether they have displayed symptoms of Covid or not. As winter comes, incidents of coughs, colds and sore throats usually increase anyway, but hopefully, with our Covidsafe practice of increased ventilation, additional handwashing and surface cleaning, along with our “Catch it Bin it, Kill it” routines, even they will reduce. In the unlikely case of a child or staff member having a positive test result, parents of those children who have been in close contact will be informed by NHS Test and Trace directly. Families will be supported whilst they are self-isolating, this includes remote learning, food parcels (if they are entitled) and teacher support. Please visit the Covid-19 section of our website and look at our comprehensive Risk Assessment if you would like more detail.
