Last week, a team of 18 children took part in the Primary Athletics Championships at Brickfields. Across two days, the children took part in a range of track and field events and they performed brilliantly. The children supported one another and kept up moral despite it being a quieter atmosphere this year. The team overall achieved many 1st and 2nd placings- year 5/6 performed well in their field events and year 3/4 shone in their track events with only milliseconds separating some finishes. Our school finished in 2nd place overall within the intermediate schools group- a real achievement. A huge well done to everyone that took part.
