Last week the Year 5/6 classes held their World War II assembly. They used all of the information that they have learnt this term to create a respectful and informative assembly on how the war began, what happened during the war, as well as conveying what life was like for people between 1939 and 1945. The children demonstrated their knowledge through speech, dance, animation and sound and every child took part and performed fantastically. The assembly could not have been better timed to link in with our poppy wave and remembrance assembly which reminded the children of the sacrifices made for our country. Well done to Year 5/6, we are so proud of you!
